Dell Video Problems

Has anyone experienced any video problems with new Dell Dimensions lately. By problems I mean you will not get a display until you disable 1 of the 2 chipsets and also disable the DVD. I was on phone with Dell tech for 4 hrs before we resolved this. Dell has no clue. Was wondering if anyone else had come accross this. This was XP Pro SP2
