Desktop Cleanup Wizard

My boss tells me that he can’t stop the Desktop Cleanup Wizard from running every two months – even though he has removed the “check mark” from “Run the Desktop Cleanup every 60 days” under the display settings. I am under the administrator account, logging onto the domain. Does anyone know if I have to log on locally? Are there any registry settings that have to be changed to stop it?? Any feedback would be great.
