Device VKD Error “Y”

Hi, When I boot up my computer, I get a message reading “WHILE INITIALIZING DEVICE VKD/WINDOWS PROTECTION ERROR “Y”. What’s this mean,
then I get “System.INI” also this D:\Program”1\Norton’1\NSS.SPDSTART.VXD. What’s all this mean? Thanks for the help,Jim
