DHCP and Multiple Subnets

by bmcneil2k . Updated 24 years, 1 month ago

First time configurating DHCP , I am a CISCO Engineer and have configured my switch VLAN’s which works fine. I now would like to configure a DHCP server and have it provide and address per VLAN / subnet,
Steps I’m looking for steps, I have configured a superscope with all subnets, and activated under the domain. When a client send its request, I get the first address of a subnet of which the clients port does not reside.

Client is in VLAN 12 configured Sunet is 192.168.12.0

Client receives 192.168.1.11

How do I configure a DHCP server for mulitiple Subnetted VLANS.
