DHCP & Resolving Workstations

I’m currently experiencing a problem with DHCP and one of our remote locations. When I try to ping a workstation by NAME, it fails to resolve and says unknow host, yet I can ping it by the IP address. Is their anything I can check other than comparing our DHCP servers or has anyone got any tips. When I check the DHCP assigned lists the workstation is listed and is active.
Any advice?
