DHCP Scope..can I delete and recreate..

I am cleaning up the DHCP Scopes I have set and would like to blow away all reservations, exclusions, etc. Can I do this during business hours with little or no impact? My assumption is that since all users have their IP address, the DHCP Scope doesn’t matter to them. And with the entire process of deleting/creating a new scope being about 10 minutes, they shouldn’t be affected. Someone confirm please.
