Diabling Floppy Drive in Win9X/NT

I have to disable all the floppy drive in my company. When I disable the Floppy in the Bios and boot to Windows it just appears as the next available drive rather than not showin up at all? How do I disable these floppies through windows without disconnecting the cables ?
