Dial Up Networking

My question is why would DUN start on its own.

Ive got a machine that after being switched on and sitting idle for a minute will open the Dial-up Connection window for no reason. The connection was set to connect automatically, so it did 1 weekend without my knowledge and as im in the UK i got a huge phone bill.

Its got win98 SE, MS Office, ie5, Outlook Express, Winfax pro v.10. There are no scripts setup on any of the connections, if that makes a difference.

The task scheduler only has Tune-up applications, so i cant see that being the problem.

Active desktop is not activated either.
