Dial up networking from home to office

I need to access to Winodws NT 4.1 server which is connected to Internet via leased line to thelocal ISP, from home. I do not want to connect to the internet, however, I want to access the database on the server. Is it possible to access the server without going through Local ISP? Have installed dial networking adaptor in the home PC. Have installled RAS on the server and external modem on the NT server.
Gave permission to my username on the server for receive calls only using remote access Admin.
I still can’t connect. Your advise will be greatly appreciated.
