dial-up with win2kpro

Recently installed win2k with SP2. When I dial my ISP at
home, I get “invalid username or password for this
domian.” Spent a couple of hours with my ISP’s tech
support thinking it was their problem.

Their log states that my 6 character password is coming in
at 16 characters long. They believe win2k is encrypting
the password even though the option under the security tab
in the properties states otherwise. I don’t have a network
card yet, so I don’t think that is an issue.
If anyone has any ideas, I be greatful. Thanks.
