Dialup DNS problem

I am having a DNS problem when using dialup in W2k professional. If I log into our LAN it works fine. When opening IE6 or Netscape it tell me could not locate. On bottom left it looks like it to going to 127.0.0.1. I do not have proxy running on this. I have a static address in the LAN setting. DHCP in dialup setting. Other workstation can dialup fine.

If I reinstall IE6 sometimes it will go to my startup page and open it. Once I click on one more link it errors again.
