DirecPC remote logon

by biinfbpokcqw . Updated 24 years, 2 months ago

I’d like to logon to DirecPC over a home ethernet. This means using the DirectPC software (called Navigator) to establish a dialup uplink, and of course, then, the downlink is satellite. To logon from the connected PC, I right-click on an icon in the system tray and select the “Connect” option. I don’t know how to do this from another PC on the lan. There is an auto-dial option built into the Navigator programming, but when I try to use it I get a lot of false dial-ups. That is, network traffic is causing a dialup even though no one is trying to log on. Then question is then, how do I stop the false dialups, or how can I activate the Navigator icon on one PCs system tray from another PC on the lan? Thanks.
