Direct X

When I run DXDIAG and try and run the test for Direct3D hardware accelerated the system locks up. I can run software rendered with no problem. I have tried this with DirectX 7, 8, and 9 with the same results. I am running the most updated driver with my ATI graphics card.

Win98 SE
256 MB ram

I can’t think of anything that has changed on this system. It used to work and now it doesn’t. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know what other info is needed to assist in findingthe fix to this problem.
