Directory Security

I have a hard drive labeled “USER” on a Server. ALL staff data is kept on this hard drive… so within the USER drive, I have 100 directories named after each user:

USER\csmith
USER\mjones
USER\shared
…etc…

as well as one directory labeled “SHARED” that ALL users have access to.

Is there a way (as with Novell) that I can “map” people to the USER directory… but they will only have access to THEIR directory… as well as the SHARED directory?
For example, “mjones” will only see MJONES & SHARED… but not CSMITH.

Currently, mjones can “see” csmith, but cannot access it. I don’t even want her to SEE it!

Please help.
