I am setting up 2 systems strictly for Data entry, and I am limited on space, so I have opted to not install mice on the computers. The problem is Windows 98se thinks there should be one, and leaves a pointer on the screen.
There is no mouse installed in Device Manager, and I have told startup not to inform me of the no mouse error.
Under Win31, windows would only bring up the hourglass and then hide the pointer if no mouse was installed. How do I force 98 to do the same thing.
The pointer just hangs out in the middle of the screen, and gets in the way. Thanks for any help.
