Disabling NT 4 Write-caching

I read somewhere that we should be sure write-caching is not enabled on the disk controller with NT 4 and SQL Server to prevent database corruption. I have not been able to find a place to check for that much less change it if necessary. Can someoneexplain to me where to look?
