Disabling Safemode on Win2K

by daryl bjerke . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

I am wondering if anyone out there knows of a way to disable a Win2K Pro workstation from being booted up in safemode. I know your wondering why, and it is simple. I want to prevent the kids from booting up into safemode and trying to hack the machine locally. If I end up with a problem on a computer, I don’t mess with diagnosing it, I simple re-image it via a PXE server. Another option would be to remap the F8 to get to the bootup menu to a different letter or combination. 500 points for the first to get it right.

Thank you for your help.
