How do you stop a program from starting at start-up time in Windows 2000? There is the obvious answer to remove them from the Start-up folder, but what about when they are not placed there?
In Win98/ME etc.. there is the MSCONFIG option with a Start-up Tab where you can uncheck certain programs to prevent them from loading and taking up memory. Is there a similar function in W2K or how is this accomplished?
Thanks, couldn’t find the answer in any of my books.
