Disk Image and Windows Xp

I have made images using Powerquest Disk Image software of different OSs (Win 98, NT 4.0 server & Win2k server) on individual primary partitions on one single hard disk. I installed Win Xp on one such partition. Now when I run Disk Image to recover an image I made before I installed Windows Xp, Disk Image now only recognizes the whole disk as 1 partition and it’s labelled ‘BAD’. Does anybody know how to recover the original partition information so that i can recover the images to the partitions they were originally made from? Dos anybody know what Windows Xp did to the partition table?
