Disk Space when installing SQL

by numero1latino . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

I have a Dell PowerEdge 6300 with three 16.9 GB drives on a Raid 5 array. I created one 4GB container/partition and installed NT 4.0 SP6a. Then I created another container/partition with the remainer of the space . I need to install SQL 6.5. I would like to install SQL on the D:\ drive but upon installation SQL tells me there is only 2GB of free space instead of 29GB.
Did I create the container wrong? Is something screwy with SQL 6.5?
Has anyone experianced this problem? Let me know.

Dennis
