Diskperf -y didn’t enable counters.

I ran the diskperf command on a Windows 2000 server with service pack 2 and didn’t get any errors. After I rebooted, I didn’t have the logical or physical disk counters available in perfmon. I re-ran the command just to be sure and it said both p and l disk counters were already set to start at boot. Anyone ever run across this? There is no information in the event log.
