For some reason my “Display Progress While Connecting” feature does not remember to turn on after I enabled it under the Dial-up property. For example, after I dialed the internet, I enabled this feature under the dialup property. After I clicked ok, the “connection status (two computers connected icon)” icon started to appear in the lower right hand tray area. This only worked one time. The next time I dialed the internet I have to go into the property and enabled this feature again before the icon started to diplay in the right hand corner. For some reason my Windows 2000 Pro SP2 does not remember to save my setting of Dialup’s Display Progress While Connecting.
Have you seen this problem before? Can you give me some idea how to fix this?
