We are running Windows NT 4.0, SP6a to support our mail server and Web Server on the same box. Mail server is Exchange 5.5 and Web server is IIS 4.0
Once in a week the system is generating the error “Initialization of the DLL c:\WINNT\system32\user32.dll failed. The process is terminating abnormally”
When ever we get this error the IMS and MTA are stopped. I am not sure where the problem is and how to tack the problem. We re installed SP6a to create a new user32.dll butthere is no use. We are not running with any backup. I know how tough is supporting a mail system with out having a proper backup, this is night mare. Any suggestions and advice is appreciated. I hope one or the other in this world trouble shouted the same kind of problem.
