DMI remote Agent for TCP/IP

I am receiving this error message on a users machine (HP Vectra vl6series)”HP Remote DMI Agent for TCP/IP: TCP/IP Protocol not installed, aborting”
There has been no new configurations, upgrades or software loads.
User booted up machine and could not get to network. There is a yellow exclamation on NIC and can not get that off, yet.
