DNS configuration

Hi,

I’m running windows 2000 server as a pdc, dns sever and dhcp server. In addition, I have a dsl line coming in and all the clients are connected to the internet through the server. The server interal ip address is 192.168.0.1 with a 255.255.255.0 subnet. The problem I’m having is the client can’t resolve to my internal dns server, I get the event id 1000 (windows machine on your network has a differnt DNS server then your domain controller). But when I change the preferred dns to the address of my server then the client can’t browse the web. Are there any ways to work around this?
