DNS failure in XP home

1 pc continues to work fine, the other seems to have suddenly lost dns function. Can ping IP address but not a name. Ipconfig looks normal.

Cannot figure out how to restore the dns function to XP home. Have tried everything I know of. Replaced nic also.
