DNS Problem

Hi! Guys
I have a windows 2000 server running as a DNS, DHCP and WINS. But when iam going to type a nslookup in command prompt I have error (Can?t find server name for address 192.168.1.254: Non existent domain) is theirs any problem in my DNS configuration? thanks in advance.
