I?m running a W2K server. There are 3NIC installed. Each of them got there own IP-Group.
NIC A)192.168.100.199 /255.255.255.0
is connected to the Machine 192.168.100.1 (is a Linux Server-with a ISDN Dial in)
its possible for the server to reach this Linux Server but not possible for him to come into the Internet
NIC b)192.168.101.199 /255.255.255.0 is serving a part of 50 PC?s.
NIC C)192.168.102.199 /255.255.255.0 is serving also a part of 50 PC?s
For all NIC?s I use 192.168.100.1 as Gateway and DNS = 129.27.2.3
so the W2K Server should work as router for LAN B and C over LAN A
Please tell me if you have an idea how to solve the problem. Because when I connect a normal PC on LAN A with IP Adress 192.168.100.5/255.255.255.0 and say gateway is 192.168.100.1 and use the DNS Server 129.27.2.3 the PC come into the internet.
