Documentation about Windows 2000

I have three Windows NT Server 4.0 installed in three different cities. I need to upgrade those servers to Windows 2000. First I need documentation about what is the size of the information that generate to connect thoese three servers. This is because I don’t know either install one domanain or two or three domains. I need to know the traffic that those servers would generate.
