I need to know how to go in to windows 2000XP and turn the vga monitor back on I went in it and turn it off lokking for the TVout which I never found for I could not play protected DVD,s it would say it cannot play it with the tv out open and I went in and turned off the vga thinking that might be it and the screen goes to black after I boot up and I cannot see how to go back in and turn it on again, I don,t see how they could may a program that would turn off monitor and you can not see anything or how to go to system restore which would fix it? Is ther another way to hookup a monitor so I can see how to go fix it? thanks for any input? I do not want to reformat my hard drive either, and don,t have the windows disc either that comes witht the machine, but do have others for other machines. Dogwood
