Domain Logon

I was called in on a problem that I can’t seem to resolve. An administrator on an NT 4 Domain with 1 PDC and 1 BDC network running WINS (neither configure for push or pull) decided to ad 2 additional BDC’s to the network of approximately 100 users. He aslo made these BDCs WINS servers. He synchronized the domain. After doing so users can no longer logon unless they are members of the Adminstrators group. The PDCs and BDCs are getting confused as to which one is which. There is no backup and RDISK has not been performed. Any suggestions short of a total reinstall.
