Domain Profile problems

My personal work machine had a hard drive failure about 6 months ago and i just now got a replacement drive a few weeks ago. my problem is when i migrated the windows install from the old drive to the new one the profiles were all messed up. my profile uses the desktop folder of a diffrent profile on the machine and this is also createing other issues thru the entire computer. has anyone esle ever seen this type of issue
