Dos Prompt at startup

Here’s the scoop: Compaq Presario 1700. 550mhz PIII, 128mb RAM, Win98SE, logging on a W2K network. Every time machine is booted a dos prompt window appears, not a problem, just annoying. I have checked for it in the Startup folder, and have checked to make sure it is not anywhere in MSCONFIG’s dialog. What is going on? Thanks in advance, JAKE
