Dot Com Liquidation Sales?

by john connell . Updated 21 years, 6 months ago

With so many dot com companies falling to the wayside, I would think that there is a bountiful market of ?gently used? hardware and other equipment out there. These bygone firms need to liquidate equipment fairly quickly to reckon with anxious lenders and crestfallen investors set on recovering any funds that they can.

To me, this presents a good opportunity for thriving firms to find deals on equipment of all kinds. Market conditions have seriously mitigated spending, but if someone?s going to spend, where can they look for good deals?

Does anyone know of a spot on the Web where sunken companies are selling their used equipment? Has your organization taken advantage of this and created some good out these unfortunate failures?
