Dr. Watson Program Errors

I am running a third party HVAC software program on a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation that monitors all HVAC equipment and temperatures. There are 3 executables within that software that are causing on an average of 1 to 4 or sometimes none at all. This program uses NETDDE for communication and is also being used as a client/server. My question is, what could be causing these errors and is there anything that I could do to correct this problem?
