Drive Letter Designations

I reinstalled W2k o/s on a P4 computer that had two physical hard drives. I installed the o/s on C. Upon installing an internal iomega zip drive my second physical hard drive became the c drive. Now certain programs are not running correctly. Can you help me return the local drive to C.
