Drive letters reassigned

After upgrading from NT 4.0 to Windows 2000 Server, my drive letter assignments
are changed around. Previous to the upgrade, NT 4.0 was installed on the C:
drive, miscellaneous application files on the D: drive and Sql databases on the
G: drive. Now, the previous C: drive is the D: drive (with Win2000 installed on
it), the previous D: drive is the E: drive, the previous G: drive is the C: drive
(and the primary partition). CD-rom drive has also changed.

Has anyone else experienced this reassigning of drives? If so, what was the
resolution to the problem.
