Drive space reported incorrectly.

Dell Opti-Plex GXa system with 4 GB SCSI hard disk. The system physically has 2.3 GB worth of data on it. However disk administrator shows 3.99 GB. The systyem is actuallly running low on disk space, according to Event Viewer.

Any thoughts?
