While installing the update for Daylight Savings today I had a computer show this error message and I am looking for a way to fix this error – “Unable to find a volume for file extraction. Please verify that you have proper permissions.” I was logged onto the computer as administrator with administrator rights. When this failed I also did a run as and entered the username and password of the domain administrator but I still got the same error message. The computer is running Windows XP sp2 and has not shown any other problems. I also tried booting into safe mode to install but still got the error message. I have installed this update onto a lot of computers and this is the only one to give me a problem. Any suggestions as to what is causing it and/or how to fix it?
