Dual Boot

Have Compaq desktop with xp and two hard drives. Have backup set on my ‘c’ drive from win 98 system that was created with Iomega tape backup. Want to install win 98 on second drive in order to open the backup set and then retreive the data I need.
Any problems with this or is there an easier way?
