dual boot 98/2k NTLDR missing

by charger media . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

I stup 98 master, 2k slave. 98 was on a drive I already own, I purchased a second drive today and installed 2000 and when it’s finished loading, reboots then says “NTLDR missing, Press any key to reboot”

I’ve tried every combo I know of in the boot sequence, and have reinstalled the OS twice, and keep getting NTLDR error.

When I installed 2000, I chose NTFS, do I need to go with FAT32 first then convert?

Also, I can’t even F8 into safe mode, can’t get to DOS prompt.

In the system info table on bootup, master and slave are both recognized.

Any idea on what I should do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
