dual core managing?

I have a dell inspiron 6400 with a T2300 dual core processor (1.6GHz) is there some sort of program that will allow me to control what processes run on which core? I play World of Warcraft, and it would be great if I could have my background stuff running on one while having WoW running on the other. Please help 🙂
