Dual Xeon vs Dual Core Xeon

I am trying to figure out if 2 x 3.0 Single Core Xeon 800 is almost equivalent to 1 x 1.86/2.0 Dual Core Xeon 1066 (Intel 3040 or 3050).
Is any one aware of any technical comparison done by intel or someone else?
