DVD+RW or DVD-RW

Which of the above technologies do you think will come out on top, bearing in mind that DVD-RW has strong backing from companies within the DVD Forum and the RWPPI where as DVD+RW is not a recognised format from within the DVD Forum and only has backing from around eight manufacturers.
Your thoughts please!!
