“Dynamic” HTML file from java “batch”

Need to run a monthly java “batch” process to create an HTML file in a specific directory. From an online perspective, we use java server pages (jsp) to create dynamic HTML output in the browser, but from a “batch” process, jsp is out. Not sure how this can be accomplished – maybe with XML and XSLT which I don’t yet know how to program – but will consider any ideas. Thanks in advance…
