dynamic scheduling board

I’m looking for a solution to share job scheduling information between the office staff and the shop floor manager. We have just purchased a tablet pc for him and are currently wondering what the best solution would be. As of now we have a hand written gant type chart on the wall in the office. Without using microsoft project or buying any other software besides office suite, what is the best way to go about sharing this dynamic information.
