EJB Deploment on J2EE 1.2.1 Server

Would like to know how to Deploy EJB Components on a J2EE 1.2.1 Server. ( The problem is that the java compiler was unable to find the javax.ejb package ). Would like to know the settings before compiling a EJB Component.
