Ejecting stuck CD from non-tray CD-Rom

My boss’ Compaq home computer has a non-tray CD-Rom drive, meaning that there is just an opening for the CD’s to slide in (like in a car stereo). A CD is stuck in the drive and will not eject. Obviously, the paperclip trick does not apply to this type of drive. Any suggestions?
