Empty Outlook 2002 Inbox

I have a Windows 2000 and Outlook 2002 setup. I had setup Outlook 2002 to send/receive mails from Hotmail. I had setup the email account correctly as I was able to view my Hotmail Inbox from Outlook. But my Outlook Inbox will not display messages/mails after doing the send/receive mail option.However, the send/receive option is completed succesfully as indicated on the Show progress window. Pls. help
