Encryption Error

I tried to connect my portable harddisk to my Fujitsu laptop but everytime i do so, it prompt me an error to format the drive. It state in the error that possible that my encryption key is not setup properly. How do i setup the key? The drive work fine when i connect to other pc or laptops. When i choose to format the drive as the error instructed. I was able to use the drive on my laptop but receive similar error from other pc and laptops. What may be the issue?
